About us
Diverse Church is a charity that supports LGBTQIA+ young adults, their families and their communities.
We were founded in 2014 due to a need for more celebratory support for young queer Christians, and the charity has grown significantly since then.
We are volunteer and member led, and our programmes are truly codesigned with our members.
What is Diverse Church?
We host online communities where young adults can connect, reflect, socialise and share together. There are a range of different online activities to appeal to a wide range of people, both those with a Christian faith and those without. There are also opportunities through the year to connect in person.
In addition to our online communities for young adults, our DC Parents group hosts an online community for parents and carers of LGBTQIA+ young people.

What does Diverse Church do?
As well as hosting online communities for LGBTQIA+ young adults and their families, training, consultation and facilitation is a significant part of what we do. We support educative settings, charities, statutory organisations and faith groups to grow a more trauma-informed, nurturing and inclusive approach to supporting LGBTQIA+ people.
Is Diverse Church International?
We support and work with people in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
